| Case Studies - Brainerd Cemetery - Cranbury, NJ - July
16, 2004
Barely visible from the street, Brainerd Cemetery surprisingly spreads five acres. The cemetery is named for David Brainerd, who served as a missionary to the Indians in the Cranbury area around the mid-1700s. There are forty graves that date before the 1800s and there are eighty Revolutionary War veterans interred on the grounds. On this night, we wandered through the headstones, stopping along the way to reflect on those buried here and to experience a bit of our American history. We offer a few pictures here. -Click on a photo for a larger image-
