| Case Studies - Burlington County Prison Museum -
Mt. Holly, NJ - March
8, 2008
We continue our investigation of the Burlington County Prison and as usual, the spirits here did not disappoint us. Although we have found activity in every area of the prison, the most active areas seem to be the death row cell, the "icky" basement hallway, the women's wing, and the warden's office. To check out our other investigations of the prison, just click on the respective links: First, Second, Third, Forth, and Fifth This was a training mission for some of our newest members, but as always, our investigations are rigidly conducted. We do this so that our evidence remains untainted and can be reviewed and cataloged systematically. On this trip, the spirits were more vocal, so we got very few pictures this night. We offer some of our best findings here... -Click on a photo for a larger image-

| EVP EVIDENCE It seems we're getting cursed at quite a bit lately, which really isn't cool. Oh, well...it gives us something to put onto our Adults Only page! The Top Floor Although it is Investigator Halpin's voice you hear in this clip, it was recorded by Investigator Purdin while investigating the top floor of the prison. You'll hear Halpin ask if anyone has anything to say to the team, to which a male spirit replies quite clearly, "Terry Ellis." Listen The Common Room The Common Room of the prison was where prisoners would meet with their lawyers, or perhaps the clergy. This room has proven to be quite active during our visits. In this audio clip, recorded by Investigator Bove', you'll hear one of the investigators sneeze, followed by two others saying, "Bless you." You'll then hear a thoughtful spirit at the end saying, "Let me bless you." She is loud and clear! Listen Main Floor Sitting alone in one of the cells, you'll hear one of our trainees telling the spirits that we "just want to talk with you." A man then clearly whispers, "Nothing," followed by a woeful woman saying, "I have a fear." Listen Continuing his questioning of the spirits, he captured this residual female voice asking, "Can I have some water?" This one is like stepping back in time for a glimpse of prison life. Listen Women's Wing Investigator Burdash was getting imagery of a young boy who seemed happy to play among the women and make them laugh. It was during this time she captured the voice of what sounds like a young boy, asking, "Want something?" Listen The Basement Well, this spirit just couldn't be any nicer in telling us to leave! Recorded in the area of the basement that Investigator Bove' calls "the icky hallway," this female spirit politely asks, "Be gone...please." This one is crystal clear! Listen While still in the icky hallway, Investigator Bove' captured this raspy male voice saying, "One cigarette." From the sounds of him, he may have already had one too many. Listen Investigator Bove' picked up this male voice in the same icky hallway. He sounds a bit anxious and talks fast, but he sounds to be saying, "Wouldn't hurt you, clear the room." Was he upset by our presence? Listen This next male voice recorded by Investigator Bove' was a bit more direct with us, saying, "Get out of here." Listen Investigator Hahn was in the basement when she picked up this inquisitive female spirit asking, "What's your purpose in here?" The voice is small, but rather clear. Listen Someone was trying to get the attention of Investigator Tighe, as evidenced by this male spirit saying, "Look at me." Listen New
member, Investigator Pietrzak, recorded this clear male voice saying,
"Alright, Kim." It should be noted that Pietrzak's name is Kim (gulp).
Every new ghost hunter's worst nightmare!
