Case Studies - Laurel Lodge - Laurel Springs, NJ - November 5, 2005

The members of the Masonic's Laurel Lodge asked us to conduct a presentation at their November meeting, which we were happy to oblige.  In preparation, we thought it would be cool to see what, if any, paranormal activity we could document at their history-rich building.

Not only did we obtain pictures, EVP, and video clips of spirit activity, we also experienced a rare event during our investigation.  While the team was convened in a central location, a light was switched on.  Upon inspection, it was noted that the light switch was a toggle-type and was physically flipped up to the "on" position.  No one was near the switch when this occurred.  Pretty Cool!

We present some of our findings here...

While using dowsing rods, Investigator Bove' was receiving imagery of someone being overcome by carbon monoxide fumes.  During this time, she experienced a strong chemical smell that produced a headache.  Not surprising her head hurt, based on this picture taken by our guest investigator!  Note that her head is encompassed by a gigantic orb (trust us, it's NOT a halo)!

Investigator Bove' felt a very strong presence to her left when she raised her camera and captured this dense, bright orb.

Once again, our dowsing rods have proven to be an invaluable tool in the work that we do.  In this picture, taken by Investigator Halpin, you'll see the rod in Investigator Bove's hand is pointing directly to an orb.

When Investigator Bove's rod spins to the other side of the room, Investigator Halpin again captures a picture showing the dowsing rods can indeed find spirit energy!

Investigator Bove' captured this impressive picture of an orb in mid-split!

Investigator Halpin took this picture showing large orbs that seem to be following Investigator Thornton.
EVP EVIDENCE

This EVP seems to be quite interactive!  While talking about the "timer features" on her camera, Investigator Bove' recorded this male voice saying, "I want to look at that...my favorite timer!"  Note that the man has what sounds like a Southern accent!  Not exactly what we're used to hearing in South Jersey!   Listen

While in the basement of the building, Investigator Bove' found a small box filled with old papers and trinkets.  As she reached to examine the box, she was startled, but not sure why.  Upon reviewing her audio, she found this warning from a male voice saying, "Don't do it."   Listen

Our evidence produced several male voices during our investigation.  This raspy male voice was captured by Investigator Thornton saying, "How about it?  Damn it."   Listen

This is a strange little voice that Investigator Bove' recorded in the main dining hall.  The male voice repeats, "Blub....blub, blub, blub.   Listen

Listen carefully to this clip recorded by Investigator Halpin.  A male voice says, "I do," followed by a female voice whispering, "Help me."  Immediately following the female voice, you will hear both Investigators Halpin and Bove' state that they just got a "major chill," meaning they felt a spirit's presence nearby.   Listen

Although this male voice is pretty clear, what he is saying is wide open to interpretation!  Recorded by Investigator Halpin during general conversation, he seems to be saying, "Won't mind if *my* press that."  Perhaps he was looking to play with some of our equipment!   Listen
