| Case Studies - Volunteer Fire Co. - Somewhere
in NJ - November
26, 2005
For years it has been rumored by the older members of this volunteer fire company that there are spirits wandering around the firehouse. Some members report hearing disembodied voices, footsteps when no one is near, and equipment being moved around an empty engine room. And so it came to be that SJPR was asked to investigate to see if we might substantiate any of these claims. We took a large team out this evening and we were able to document many instances of spirit activity. In particular, the engine room that houses the fire trucks was the sight of the strongest energy documented, but the lounge area yielded the most EVP. We offer some of our findings here. -Click

| EVP
EVIDENCE
After
capturing spirit energy on her digital camera, Investigator Spring also
recorded the voice of a female spirit! In this clip, you'll hear her
say "flash" as she is taking a second picture, but listen
carefully and you can hear a woman whispering, "Turn it
on." Listen Can a spirit actually understand and know what an EVP is? As Investigator K. Groff turned on her recorder in the meeting room of the fire house, she captured this male voice saying, "Darn EVP." Listen Although there are investigators talking in this clip, Investigator Pierantozzi's trained ear was able to pick out the voice of what sounds like a small child. Listen carefully and you'll hear the child call, "Daddy!" Listen Just 10 minutes after recording the above EVP, Investigator Pierantozzi captured another young voice (perhaps the same voice). With a sing-song tone, the young girl says, "I get up." They don't get much more clear than this one! Listen In another instance of Investigator Clark sensing a spirit near him, Investigator K. Groff recorded this female spirit saying in a clear voice, "Come, I'm right here." Listen |
