Case Studies - Private Residence - Brigantine, NJ - January 20, 2007

The residents of this lovely seaside home asked SJPR to come and investigate the strange happenings here.  One resident feels as though she's being watched in just about every room of the house.  In one area in particular, she likes to sit at her dining room table by a door leading to a deck.  It is while she sits in this one spot that she feels a woman constantly looking over her shoulder.

Although this was not the most active investigation we have conducted, we did manage to gather a few compelling pieces of evidence, including an EVP of a woman who owns up to making the resident feel uncomfortable!  As we typically find when we do not captured many pictures and video of spirit energy, we end up capturing a higher number of EVP.  Such was the case in this home.

There were areas of the house where negative energy was felt.  Three investigators, independent of each other, received imagery of a man around the age of 60 who had taken his own life by firearms.  The resident is conducting research to see if there was this type of history connected to the home.

Investigator Bove' was receiving imagery of the bedroom in which her team was positioned.  She first saw it decorated specifically for a frilly little girl.  She then quickly got conflicting imagery of a little girl who was a tomboy.  It was during this time she recorded this female voice stating, "Now you're asking."   Listen

Just as Investigator Bove' turned on her recorder in the master bedroom, she picked up this male voice asking, "Can you hear me?"   Listen

While her team was still investigating the master bedroom, Investigator Bove' randomly recorded this deep-voiced male strangely requesting, "Yes, in 4 or 5 minutes, hit me."   Listen

While one of the residents was talking, Investigator Tornatore's recorder picked up this female spirit saying, "Oh...(gasp)...God!"   Listen

While Investigator Agar and his team were receiving imagery, he recorded this male voice in the audio of his video camera.  The spirit says, "Lenny...Sarah did it."  We should mention that there was no one name Lenny nor Sarah present during the investigation.   Listen

In this clip, recorded by Investigator Tornatore, you will hear a male spirit say, "Cold."  You will then hear Investigators Tornatore and Thornton agreeing that they are feeling cold.   Listen

Investigator Bove' decided to sit in the chair in the dining room where the resident reported she feels uncomfortable.  As her team was discussing what the resident experiences sitting there, Investigator Bove' recorded what sounds like the soft voice of an elderly female stating, "I shake her...up."   Listen

Investigator Thornton captured this energy flying near the resident when she was recounting the uncomfortable feeling she gets sitting in a particular chair in the dining room.   Watch
